I am taking this course , MB 103 - Marketing, in this long holiday. Yesterday was the last day of this module and also the last presentation of mine for this module. A total of 4 presentations have been done in these 5 weeks. Undeniably , it is quite suffering when cracking my head for the points and doing the power point slides, but indeed, it is fun and i was enjoying doing it.
2 presentations which carry a total of 30% of this module are the presentation of Case Study for iTune and the other one, Marketing Plan of our lovely “I Cake You” cake shop concept. Our group were doing quite well for both of the presentation and their commitments are much more than appreciation.
Unfortunately, with individual comments from my tutor , “…demonstrated familiarity with your topics. Used survey well to suport the rationale for your project…” and “…presented research and spoke well..”, but my group got a B for presentation ( well, there is only either A or B ,no + no -). It is kinda sad for this, not that I never worked hard for these!!! Group coorperation is really important! and I realised that we should really learn on how to work and mingle well with the others for the sake of our future in the society.
Networking is the KEY to success! So is the view of choosing SUITABLE and GOOD event partners or group mate…hmmm don’t really understand what am I trying to convey, kinda bored and slack…I guess that is it for now.
The fuel price hikes! No doubt it is a bloody hell news for those low income group with the rise of 40% of the price, but do not just blame the government. Consider also the falling stock market of Malaysia and also the weakened Currency value of Ringgit Malaysia over these few weeks. When I was checking out the forums and news about the raised price of petrol, I noticed a funny thing, many people actually called AAB = bodowi in forum haha what a fun and suitable name for him!
And also, the Kiasu-ness. How many people were suffered from the long queue waiting to pump petrol at the night before the implementation of the hiked price? Kind of SUPERFICIAL and “shallow” I think. How much did they actually save while waiting in the long queue? How about the cost of their waiting time?the opportuniry cost?the cost of the fuel wasted just to wait at the kiosk? yeah It is Silly.
